The event was hosted by the Taiwan Association for Sustainable Development, the Taiwan Association for the Promotion and Cultivation of Medical Aesthetic Health Care and Safety, and the pet online knowledge platform “PetTalk: Say Pets”, and co-organized by the New Taipei City Veterinary Clinical Medical Association, and was grandly held on April 9 in Taipei Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industry Park.
The pet tumor marker DR70-vet, which was jointly developed by our company and the Department of Veterinary Medicine of National Taiwan University, was also unveiled for the first time at this event. DR70-vet is a tumor marker with high sensitivity to canine cancer cells, which can be used to monitor the course of the disease and track the effectiveness of treatment, and even have the opportunity to detect the occurrence of cancer early, so as to achieve the expectation of early detection and early treatment.
Most people don’t know that when a dog is more than 10 years old, the chance of getting cancer tends to be nearly half, and the symptoms are very subtle, usually by the time the owner finds out and seeks medical attention, it is already terminal.
We expect that the advent of DR70-vet will bring more reliable testing tools to dogs, and the characteristics of testing can be done as long as blood is drawn can also reduce the pressure and burden of dog visits.
Special thanks to the keynote speaker of this lecture, Dr. Wu Junhong, who explained in simple terms that everyone can easily understand the causes of tumors, how to find them and how to treat them.
