104 Annual Good Drug Distribution Practices (GDP) Guidance Visit Commendation and Achievement Presentation”

On December 22, 104, the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare (hereinafter referred to as the Food and Drug Administration) held the “Good Drug Distribution Practices (GDP) Guidance Visit Commendation and Results Presentation”, and Xu Mingneng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Jiang Yumei, Director of the Food and Drug Administration, attended the venue to deliver speeches and awards, commending 29 outstanding manufacturers who cooperated with the guidance visit of Good Drug Distribution Practices this year (104) (detailed attachment list of award-winning manufacturers), Encourage domestic drug distribution and marketing related industries to strive to improve the quality of drugs and maintain people’s health. The theme of this year’s ceremony was “Safe Medicine, Good Luck”, and top-performing manufacturers were invited to the stage to share their experience in promoting implementation, as well as experts who have assisted the Food and Drug Administration in providing industry guidance over the years, so as to encourage other drug distributors to invest their efforts and resources to jointly improve the quality of medicines for the Chinese people.
China has officially become a PIC/S member ahead of Japan and South Korea on January 1, 102, and has fully completed the implementation of PIC/S GMP on December 31, 103. In order to strengthen the control of the drug distribution chain, drug GDP is the next important policy direction to improve the quality management of the drug supply chain, PIC/S organization officially announced its drug GDP specification on June 1, 103, which shows that countries around the world attach great importance to the harmony of GDP norms and its management system, and China also officially announced it on July 16, 104The “Good Manufacturing Practice for Western Medicines (Part 3: Distribution and Distribution)” aims to complete the implementation of drug GDP by domestic drug manufacturers and drug license holders by December 31, 107, and gradually implement drug GDP in stages, so as to improve the quality of domestic drug distribution and distribution, so as to improve the drug management system and make the public feel more at ease and at ease in using drugs.
In order to develop China’s drug GDP management system in line with international standards, the Food and Drug Administration has gradually promoted China’s GDP management system with a commissioned plan since 100 years, including the collection of foreign GDP related norms and management mechanisms, the holding of international conferences on drug GDP, and the continuous organization of education and training activities such as drug GDP-related industry briefings, theme forums, technical seminars and GDP logistics plant observations, and since 101 years, a total of 145 pharmaceutical factories, distributors, agents and distribution operators. 290 factories of voluntary counseling visits, tomorrow (105) the Food and Drug Administration will continue to carry out GDP counseling visit program, and those who have not yet received counseling can seize the opportunity to apply for on-site guidance on the hardware, technology and management requirements of GDP. Through on-site visits, we will exchange views with industry players and assist them in practical operations, hoping to promote the GDP system more smoothly in the future.
