Specimen preservation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

  • Temperature:<\/strong> Most specimens need to be refrigerated at 2-8\u00b0C, and some special specimens may need to be frozen or stored at room temperature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Time:<\/strong> The specimen should be sent for testing as soon as possible, if it cannot be sent for immediate testing, please store it properly according to the above storage conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Containers:<\/strong> Use sterile, clean collection containers to avoid contamination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Labeling:<\/strong> The patient’s name, date of birth, test items, collection time and other information should be clearly marked on the sample container.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Collection method<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

    • Serum and plasma:<\/strong> Hemolysis and lipid blood should be avoided when venous blood is collected, and centrifugation should be carried out after 30 minutes or 1 hour after collection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • cerebrospinal fluid:<\/strong> Lumbar puncture collection by a medical professional, care should be taken to avoid contamination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Saliva:<\/strong> Please do not eat, drink, or smoke before collection, and avoid contact between saliva and the wall of the container during collection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      • Hemolysis:<\/strong> Excessive needle strength, excessive blood extraction, and excessive shaking may cause hemolysis during blood collection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Lipidemia:<\/strong> Patients with postprandial blood sampling or hyperlipidemia are prone to lipidemia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Jaundice:<\/strong> People with liver disease are prone to jaundice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Coagulation insufficiency:<\/strong> Patients with inadequate anticoagulant use or coagulation abnormalities are prone to coagulopathy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Contamination:<\/strong> Failure to pay attention to aseptic work during the collection or storage process can easily lead to contamination of the sample.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
