The 2023 Taipei Pet Festival will be held on January 8, 2023 at Huabo Park, and the activities include free health check-ups for furry children, owner talks, market stalls, and stamp raffles. The main purpose is to improve the attention and awareness of the health of furry children.
UNIVET participated in this important event this year, hoping to raise the awareness of dog and cat cancer among owners, and be more vigilant about the cancer rate of nearly 50% in old age.
Specially invited veterinarian Wu Junhong, an oncology specialist from Weikang Animal Hospital, gave a full and detailed explanation of the incidence of cancer in dogs and cats, the types of common occurrences, how to prevent and how to treat them. The owners who came to the scene were also super serious, and every page of the slides would be photographed, lest any detail be missed. Therefore, with the approval of Dr. Wu, we also specially recorded the content of the speech, so that everyone can learn this knowledge more clearly. I wish all the babies good health!
